7th Grade will be covering the topic of Life science.



Life science is the study of living things.  The many aspects of life are: cells, reproduction, genetics,  plants, animals,
and the human  body. 

These topics will be covered:

1. Molecules to Organisms - Chararcterisitics of life, cells, photosynthesis,  cycles
2. Heredity - genes, reproduction, offspring,  mutations, 
3. Biological Evolution:  Unity and Diversity  - fossils and evolutionary relationships, natural selection
4. Ecosystems: Interactions, Energy, Dynamics - food chains, food webs, dissections

The 7th Graders will participate in a worm, frog, and an owl pellet dissection in the Spring.
