Welcome to 1st grade!!

 

     We are so excited to be back in school!  First grade is a very busy year as we learn many new skills. You will be amazed at how much your child will mature and learn this year!  We appreciate all parents for helping their child to complete homework and practice skills at home.  This should not take a long time. A LITTLE practice goes a LONG way!! 

 

*Supply Fee - Our class supply fee is $40.  All school fees can be paid ONLINE. If you would like to send cash, please send in an envelope with your child’s name on it. You do not have to make the full payment. Partial payments are accepted. Thank you!

 

*Remind 101 - Please join your teacher’s Remind 101. To join, see paper sent home on Friday.

 

*Birthdays - In our current Covid Phase 2, no birthday parties or holiday parties are allowed.  According to LDOE, if and when we finish Phase 3 we anticipate parties to be reinstated.

 

*Snack - please send your child a snack &/or drink each day.  We eat lunch early, and students usually are hungry later in the day. Students can also bring a WATER BOTTLE to school.

 

*Classroom Discipline and Behavior Plan - Each child will start the day on green. Each time a rule is broken, they will have to move to the next color and the appropriate consequence will follow. At the end of each day, your child will receive a colored check for the day.

Students will be rewarded on Fridays if they stay on green the whole week.
