As most of you know by now, my name is 𝔻𝕖𝕧𝕚𝕟 𝔻𝕦𝔹𝕠𝕚𝕤.

 

I am originally from an incredibly small village called Sun, Louisiana.

 

I went to my hometown school, Fifth Ward Junior High, from kindergarten through 8th grade, then attended Covington High School. I graduated in 2010 and moved to Southeastern Louisiana University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Education in 2014 and a Master of Arts in English in 2016. I'm certified to teach grades 6-12. 

 

My husband and I have a home in Walker with our daughter, Blake Rose, and our rescue pup, Belle. We welcomed a baby boy, David Edmond, in November 2021. My husband Landon is the head basketball coach at Holden and teaches Special Education there, as well. I enjoy canoeing when I can, visiting antique stores, and reading YA literature.
